We're Open

The community comes together at Darkroom Espresso

Swindon continues to celebrate its diversity and community spirit as it proudly opens its doors to those seeking refuge.

'We’re Open' is a free weekly event at a popular coffee shop that aims to promote welcome, inclusion and support in Swindon. Working alongside the movement Swindon City of Sanctuary, who strive to build upon the help and care given to asylum seekers and refugees in Swindon, the Darkroom Espresso team hope that We’re Open will strengthen bonds within the community:

‘The idea behind the evenings is to bring people together, and provide people with a space to go and make friends. We also try to make our space available to as many charity and community groups as possible’.

Every Thursday

There’s plenty of games and live music, as well as opportunity to meet new groups of people (not to mention the excellent coffee).

We’re Open runs every Thursday evening at Darkroom Espresso in Faringdon Road, 6.30pm-8.30pm.
